CORONA - Covid-19

Covid-19 was also discovered in Zambia in March and the government immediately announced a Lock down. Fears of a major nationwide outbreak remain high, as the vulnerable health system in Zambia certainly cannot cope with an outbreak. There is hope that things are going in the right direction.

After 6 weeks of Lock down, the number of cases has not yet increased. The Liberi school was also forced to close its doors in connection with the corona virus. Liberi Foundation is monitoring the situation closely and as soon as it gets government approval, it will immediately open its doors to the school again. As long as there is no other option than to try to take care of our students remotely. Our employees are not idle. The school has been thoroughly cleaned, overdue maintenance has been carried out and a (hygiene) protocol has been extensively worked on if the pupils and teachers are allowed to come back together.
